Have you experienced the sound of a native Yellow-Crested Cockatoo screeching loudly overhead?

Native to Australia, the Yellow-Crested Cockatoo (Cacatua sulphurea) is a marvel to share in the Aussie bush with its raucous calling that can be heard as they fly overhead.

Their vibrant yellow crescent and white plumage contrast pleasantly against the Australian bush.

With strong curiosity and a degree of intelligence, these birds are often not shy to people. This nature opens the opportunity for capturing high amounts of detail with up-close encounters.

I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed spending time with these creatures, capturing their portraits. I'd love it if you could purchase a photo or two, as the money supports my passion for photographing the natural world.
